SKiLD Summer Training Programme 94k
National Support Services Draft Framework 2008-11 This is a culmination of the Destination 2014 consultation and the Hubs Review. The framework recommends four support themes of Finance, Performance, Workforce and Voice, each with a strategic lead. Capacitybuilders & ChangeUp: Destination 2014 was launched at Capacitybuilders inaugural annual conference on 3 July. The consultation process on Destination 2014 has ensured that a wide range of voices from across the sector have had their say. Destination 2014 outlines how Capacitybuilders will achieve its mission, and how that in turn will help create a more effective third sector - delivering a better quality of life for individuals and communities.
ChangeUp Evaluation A team of experts has been appointed to scope out the evaluation of ChangeUp. From January 2008, Capacitybuilders will operate an ongoing main evaluation process for ChangeUp, with a focus on the impact that investment in support organisations and networks has on front line organisations. >> MORE
Review of Hubs Following the National Hubs Review, the Capacitybuilders Board has committed itself to a programme of change in the future delivery of national support services to the voluntary and community sector and social enterprises. >> MORE
The new Finance Hub website has improved access to resources that make sense of finance and funding in the Third sector. The website will become a one-stop portal aggregating all the available resources of financial information relevant to the voluntary and community sector. .
An accredited learning scheme for trustees and committee members is being piloted by the UK Workforce and Governance Hubs. It aims to give existing trustees the opportunity to gain skills and also to encourage people from a diverse background to recognise trusteeship as a route to self development .
